All new riders begin with a $75 45-minute evaluation lesson. Email or call to schedule your evaluation and get matched with the right instructor and level.

Long pants and closed-toe shoes with a heel. After the first lesson, riders must have their own ASTM/SEI-certified helmet and English riding boots.

Arrive 15–20 minutes before your lesson to brush, tack, and prepare your horse.

Yes. Riders move into group lessons once they are safely walking, trotting, steering, and stopping independently.

At least four lessons per month (sometimes five depending on the calendar) and one makeup if cancelled 24 hours in advance.

Boarders take a monthly training lesson package ($275 for 3 lessons) and participate in at least four horse shows per year.

Monthly lesson programs require a credit card on file. Evaluation lessons can be paid via cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle.

No. All horses boarded at Four Generations Farm must be in our training program. This ensures consistent care, safe handling, and appropriate development for both horse and rider.
